About Dr. Redd
Dr. Jay Redd earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2006. He then completed a general practice residency (GPR) at the University of Utah Hospital from 2006-2007.

Dr. Redd grew up in Blanding, Utah where his family has lived since the town was settled. He and his family moved to Moab, Utah during his high school years. After high school, he served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Scotland.
Before attending dental school, Dr. Redd studied as an undergraduate at Brigham Young University and Southern Utah University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, and he continues his education in dentistry every month by taking continuing education courses through the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Redd has been practicing dentistry in Santa Clara since 2007, and he strives to provide the highest quality of care to each of our patients. At Santa Clara Dental, we are honest, passionate, and committed to assisting our patients improve their oral health. Each member of our dental team has high standards of quality and integrity. Our ultimate goal is to educate and motivate our patients regarding their responsibilities to achieve the best results possible.
When Dr. Redd isn’t hard at work improving your smile, he enjoys reading, traveling, fourwheeling, boating at Lake Powell, playing and coaching baseball, and spending time with his wife, Karen, and his three kids.
